Currently in New Mexico, Chessa Jones has 20 years of experience in private kitchens and 15 years cooking as a private chef.

Chessa has prepared memorable, delicious meals everywhere from fishing boats and backcountry lodges in Alaska to the finest homes in Aspen, Santa Fe and the Hamptons. Her capabilities as a chef are as versatile as her menus, having cooked family meals, large-scale dinner parties and everything in between in private homes and vacation rentals in Jackson Hole, Deer Valley, Park City and beyond.

Through her private chef company, Chessabella, Chessa has served as a long-term family chef, travel chef, team chef (for a boat in the New York Yacht Club Annual Regatta) and more, always providing exceptional service and exquisite meals that hosts and guests remember long after dessert.

Chessa knows great meals start with fresh ingredients of the highest quality, which is why she seeks out the best.

Using organic, often local ingredients, she creates bespoke, personalized menus focused around seasonal offerings. Much of her inspiration comes from California, where she took classes at the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena and Italy, where she has traveled extensively. Whether it's miso glazed fresh-caught King Salmon with crispy asian slaw on a fishing boat in Southeast Alaska or grass-fed beef tenderloin encrusted in Borsari salt and garlic for a dinner party in Little Cottonwood Canyon after a powder day at Alta, Chessa's dishes elevate everything from vacations to a Monday evening at home. Always thoughtfully organized and well-executed, Chessa's menus are flexible and can accommodate a variety of dietary needs (clients rave about her Paleo recipes and gluten-free baked goods).

While Chessa's food speaks for itself, her amiable personality, friendly demeanor and positive energy infuse her food with love and joy.
